What is Beem?

Beem is a simplified HR & internal comms platform. With our mobile application you can quickly and easily access all the content which is relevant and trending from around your company, all from a single location!

How do I download the App?

Beem is available to download from the App Store & Google Play, free of charge.

Many companies have their own custom versions of the app, so if you are looking for a specific company app try searching it by name.

Which devices currently support Beem?

Beem runs on iOS and Android, on both mobile and tablets. 

We are fully compatible with any Apple device running iOS 8.0 or later, and Android version 4.0.3 and up.

The app will work on Blackberry devices running Android or with access to the Google Play store, but there is no Blackberry specific version.

How secure is the app?

All of the data published on the app is stored on secure enterprise cloud servers, and nothing is kept on the phone itself

Beem requires authentication before any secure company information can be viewed. This is can be done via email address, or using our secure front-line logins for staff without corporate emails.

Or, if your organisation has an existing authentication system in place, we can build that into the app directly and use your system instead!

Beem recently completed a PenTest with Nettitude out of NYC.

How long will it take to get my network up and running?

We make it super easy to get started quickly and learn effectively, so you can focus on the important stuff; like your people on your wider rollout strategies.

Our average set up (including White Labeling), can see you up and running within 14 days, providing the flexibility to get started on your first phase right away.

If you’re looking to integrate with SharePoint or, your existing HR/HCM systems, we usually add an extra 7-14 days to your timeline. During this period we work closely with your IT and security teams, to ensure everything runs smoothly.

The length of your first phase is entirely up to you, we recommend a phased rollout starting with 200-300 in the first month, and scaling quickly from there. We work closely with you for the best results, and provide ongoing support throughout your journey to mobility

How much does it cost?

You can get started with Beem for £2999, which includes a three-month license for unlimited users.

From there, we encourage our clients to consider two additional packages: White Label and Success Plus. White labeling allows you to have a fully branded application from the start, searchable by your unique name and icon on the app store. Success Plus is our extra hands on package, where you have your own dedicated success resource as well as access to all our premium features. After your three-month pilot phase, it’s time to move onto a full license. We know that every company is different, and so we work with you to find a model that best fits your objectives and budgets.

How do I get started?

We’re big believers in try before you buy, and we’re more than happy to put together a branded demo network for you, so you can get to grips with the app right away.

From there we can move very quickly, ensuring everything aligns with your IT and project teams. Once the project is good to go, you can be up and running within 14 days.

How do I log into the platform?

If you’re checking out our Beem app, simply log in with your personal email, check your email, and then verify yourself. From there you can access the Beem demo content directly.

If you have a company approved application, you’ll either be logging in via your corporate email, or through secure frontline login details (your company administrator will be able let you know what these are. But if you’re still unsure, let us know

Once you’ve securely logged in, you’ll have a full access to all the great content on your own app!

Is content moderated on the app?

Publishing can be done on our web-based dashboard, by approved team members, with relevant levels of access. Many of our clients create strong publishing

Many of our clients create publishing guidelines and introduce approval processes for content. We can assist in this process too!

In terms of user-generated content, some Beem clients are super social, with users commenting and sharing their own posts, while others are more regulated. It’s really about what works best for your organisation, and you can always make your network more social as you go!

User posts and comments are live on the app immediately after posting, but can easily be deleted by admins via the dashboard at any time.

Can I use my personal device?

Beem has been designed for corporate users on company devices, and BYOD users alike.

We believe that all users should have access to the great content on Beem, and we’ve made it easy for them to do so from any device (running iOS or Android).

You can also download Beem on additional devices such as your tablet or iPad. For security reasons, authentication is required each time you add a new device.

How does the app handle leavers?

Once an employee has left your company they will also be removed from the application. This can be done manually from the Beem management dashboard, or handled through an enterprise integration with your internal people management software.

Once an employee has moved on from your organisation, they can no longer access any company content.

Is the app easy to use?

We’ve taken the time to make the user experience within Beem incredibly intuitive and easy to use. We’ve done this by finding inspiration from the consumer apps and platforms that many of us use on a regular basis!

The first time users download the app they are taken through an animated introduction and in case they weren’t paying attention, they can reopen the tutorial at any time in the side menu.

What are your metrics like? What can I expect to achieve in terms of Engagement with my network?

We’re very proud to say that we have some of the best stats in the business.

While many apps are happy to have 25% engagement, we consistently achieve 50-60% engagement across our networks, with upwards of 10% unique viewership daily.
